With over 1600Km of footpaths and bridleways, and towering cliffs and remote beaches, the East Riding of Yorkshire boasts spectacular historical and heritage sites, and is known for its scenic canals, shellfish, and ancient chalk reefs.
As part of our work, we are pushing for a total of £8.5 million investment in road works which will support new housing and employment developments, as well as improvements at Swanland and Humber Bridge roundabouts, making East Riding a more accessible region.
We’ve worked with East Riding Council to submit a bid for funding for improvements to the A1079 in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
If supported by the National Roads Fund, these schemes would reduce congestion, improve reliability, and support local housing and business growth.
