The role of our analytical teams is to ensure we provide the evidence base that enables the development of policies that will help deliver the ambition set out in our Strategic Transport Plan and supports evidence-based decision making in relation to the Investment Programme.
Strategy and evidenceOur Integrated and Smart Travel programme worked in partnership with public transport operators, local authorities and digital innovators to find ways to transform the passenger experience now and in the future. Using emerging technologies, the programme looked to deliver the modern payment methods and mobile travel information passengers want and expect so they can travel quickly and easily around the North.
