Information requested

Please could you provide any route maps for the proposed Manchester to Leeds and Liverpool to Manchester routes that are part of Northern powerhouse rail.

• Timeframe: please could you provide details of the most recent proposed routes from the latest announcement.

• Level of detail: we do not require a high level schematic map of the route, only a map which clearly shows the proposed location of the route in enough detail so that we could determine whether a property is located within 200 meters of the route.

Our response

Thank you for your response to our request for clarification, which we received on Friday 26 June 2026.

You confirmed as follows:

“1. Timeframe - Please could you provide details of the most recent proposed routes from the latest announcement

2. Level of Detail - We do not require a high level schematic map of the route, only a map which clearly shows the proposed location of the route in enough detail so that we could determine whether a property is located within 200 meters of the route”.

We have dealt with this under the Environmental Information Regulations. We have now completed our search and we can confirm that we do not hold the requested information.
