The Scrutiny Committee makes reports or recommendations to the Transport for the North (TfN) Board with respect to the discharge of its functions, on matters relating to transport to, from or within TfN’s area, and in advance of any decisions that Transport for the North Board proposes to take.
The Scrutiny Committee consists of 20 Local Authority Members from across the North and has been established to review the decisions of the Transport for the North Board.
Each of the Constituent Authorities is entitled to appoint one Member and one Substitute Member to the Scrutiny Committee.
All committee meetings are open to the public (including the press) except to the extent that they are excluded whether during the whole or part of the proceedings.
This meeting on Wednesday November 23, 2022, will be held in person, in Leeds.
Please note that whilst you will be able to watch public items, you won’t be able to make comments or speak to members. A copy of the public proceedings will be published after the meeting has taken place.
In order to fulfil our obligations on commercial confidentiality and data protection, the public and press will be excluded for certain agenda items where confidential or ‘exempt’ information is discussed.
